Introducing the OA-DL-Mini-OAK, the smallest smartscope now has the smallest accessory kit to go along with it.

The kit features:

A magnetic threaded base which also keeps the view from the wide angle lens unobstructed (when not using the dew shield, view is partially obstructed when the dew shield is fitted). This allows for the fitting of 3rd party 1.25" astro filters and also the attachment of a threaded and flocked dew shield.
A threaded and flocked dew / light shield.
A Bhatinov mask as well as Newtonian (4 spike), and Webb (6 spike) diffraction masks are also included.
All fits into a handy carrying pouch which is also supplied.

SOLAR IMAGING - Recommend using the Dwarflab supplied filter

If you intend to use your own 1.25" solar filter with this kit:
The wide angle shield on the filter holder must be blocking the wide angle lens.
The DwarfLab mini as part of it's calibration process for tracking the sun fully closes (knocking the filter holder off) before opening the scope again (at which point you must attach the filter holder again, before the main objective lens aligns with the sun.
The dew/light shield should not be used during solar imaging as this increases the chance of accidentally knocking off the filter holder and directly exposing the Mini's sensor to the sun leading to permanent damage.

Solar imaging is undertaken entirely at the users own risk.

Currenty we've been experiencing an extrordinary amount of cloud (no clear sky in over 2 months) which means we haven't been able to take any shots with the Mini as yet. As soon as we get a clear night we'll get some example shots up in the product images.

Quick delivery and brilliantly manufactured and comes in a nice little bag. Yet to use as clouds inevitably come with every new astro purchase. I love how they properly flocked the inside with quality flocking material. If you have a dwarf mini, just buy one, you'll not find better elsewhere.

Superior Quality

All of the accessories are very well made and top quality. My favorite one is the dew shield. It has a little more length than other competitors and the internal flocking really make a difference.

Excellent Accessory Set for Dwarflab Mini Smartscope

I recently ordered Oak Astro's dew hood,bahtinov focus mask and star diffraction set.
Firstly, I live in New Zealand, about as far away as one could possibly be from Oak Astro, I was highly impressed with the fast delivery time.
Upon inspection, the items delivered are robust, of very high quality and precision manufacture. The threaded components mate perfectly. The dew hood is internally flocked and has absolutely no internal reflections.
Owing to poor viewing conditions (overcast, cloudy nights) I have not yet had the opportunity to test the items on any astro objects, however I have no reason to doubt that they will perform as advertised.
The accessory carry bag is a nice bonus.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this product to other Dwarf Mini users.

Great kit

Great kit. Seems to be pretty good value, well made. I bought it mainly to try and help eliminating light from the side entering the lens. It seems to help without causing any vignetting which is what I hoped.

I am always leery of any online purchase but it went off without a hitch, UK to Canada. Shipment was tracked along the way.

You’ll be glad you got it with the filter holder.

I paired this with my OakAstro filter holder to raise the Seestar S50 above the SkyWatcher Star Adventurer Wedge so the S50 rotates freely and the filter holder does not foul the wedge. It’s a simple device but quite important to the overall performance.

Simple and very effective.

It is hard to fault this device! I bought it because I wanted to add different filters to my SeeStar S50 and because I wanted to reduce extraneous light getting in. It works on both counts. I recommend users read the manual as the mounting flap could easily be damaged by not following the publiushed guidance.
