From the 11th of July until the 24th of July 2026 we will be suspending all shipping for orders placed during this period with fullfilment resuming on the 25th of July. This item allows you to stack a second external 2 inch filter to your ZWO Seestar S50 if you have version 2 of our Seestar S50 Optical Accessory kit. It is placed into the fitting for your OAK Dew Shield allowing the 2nd filter to piggyback and provides functionality to still add the dew/light shield.
The image of NGC 7000 was taken under a full moon with security and street lights from a bortle 7 location using our OAKv2 kit with the filter stacker added for a total of 3 filters in the imaging train, the internal UV/IR filter of the Seestar S50, a SVBONY SV220, and an Optolong L-PRO light polution filters. The image is unprocessed other than enhancement performed by the Seestar and it's software. The lack of any gradients in the image given the surrounding light polution was impressive. Individual results will vary depending on location and which filters are being used, the image of NGC7000 is just illustrative of possible outcomes from filter stacking.
